FIFA World Cup 2022
Operating from the International Broadcast Center (IBC) in Doha, this project focused on producing live digital content for Host Broadcast Services. The FIFA World Cup operates at an unmatched pace, requiring the translation of live match action into compelling digital pieces under extreme time pressure.
Working as part of a specialized digital team, the task involved creating a wide range of assets, from enhanced match edits produced during live games to high-impact tournament promos. Every piece was designed to help broadcasters worldwide deliver timely coverage that matched the scale and intensity of the tournament.

Graphics
In addition to video production, a variety of social-first graphics were developed to support the tournament’s narrative. These visuals ranged from reactive designs highlighting key match moments to prepared graphics focusing on player milestones and unique tournament storylines.
Project Outcome
On-Site Production Hub
The production was executed over a six week period in Doha, fully embedded in the tournament’s core broadcast environment. This on-site presence allowed for immediate access to live footage and data, resulting in a high volume of polished content delivered within minutes of the final whistle. Being part of the central digital team ensured that all output remained synchronized with the developing storylines of the tournament.
Global Broadcaster Reach
The final assets were distributed to and published by broadcasters all over the world for use on their digital platforms. By providing a mix of pre-match hype videos and rapid post-match reaction edits, the work enabled rights holders to maintain a high-quality presence that captured the tournament’s momentum for a global audience.
